The first day of the Policy session is June 17, 2012.

The first day of the Public Forum session is June 24, 2012.

Students should plan on arriving between 12:00pm-5:00pm at Creswell Hall for registration on these days.

The last day of camp for both sessions is June 30, 2012. Students should plan on checking out and departing before 5:00pm on this day.

If a student can't arrive or depart during these times they should contact us in advance to make alternate arrangements.

Travel to and from the GDI is easy!

We strongly recommend that those who choose to fly use Hartsfield-Jackson International airport in Atlanta, Georgia. There are several low cost shuttle services available that drive directly to Athens. This site lists several of them: http://www.airportshuttles.net/ga_atlanta.shtml. If you have additional questions about how to get from the airport to the institute, please contact us.

(*Note: NEVER fly as an unaccompanied minor. This will cause, at a minimum, problems and delays at the airport. We will not have staff at the airport to assist with unaccompanied minors.)

From Atlanta, the drive to the University of Georgia campus in Athens takes about an hour and a half. Directions are available here.

UGA is located in the center of Athens and can be easily navigated with the help of a campus map.
